Is the reputation of Hokkaido Casino good or bad?
In terms of the IR idea plan for Hokkaido, the area that is receiving the most attention is Tomakomai.
The planned construction site for Tomakomai Casino is private property for farming in Tomakomai near New Chitose Airport and the International resort with Hokkaido nature where construction such as luxury hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, casinos, hot springs, convention centers and entertainment facilities will take place.
Especially, Hokkaido is a typical and popular tourist spot for Asians (Chinese, Hong Kong people, Korean, Taiwan) and plus it’s near New Chitose Airport, it also has natural energy like solar power which can be supplied, so it is highly valued as it can turn into a big city like Osaka and Yokohama.
Also, apart from Tomakomai, there are a few other potential locations being considered which are Kushiro which is home to Japan’s representative lakes such as Lake Akan, Lake Mashu and Lake Kussharo plus has an abundant panorama of nature surrounded by natural forest, closeby Sapporo which is the fourth highest in Japan in terms of population and Otaru where large luxury cruise ships come with its historical buildings scattered everywhere.
For any overseas major casino companies interested in being a part of this, Mark Frissora the CEO of Caesars Entertainment introduced an IR idea plan in Tomakomai (Hokkaido) in February, 2018. It seems that a lot of overseas capital casino companies are still interested in developing Hokkaido Casino as of March 2018.
